Before you contact support
When contacting support, attach a diagnostics export: open Enterprise Contacts → Settings → Export diagnostics and share the file. It is a plain-text report of app, device, and configuration state, per-source sync status, and logs — it contains no contact content and no tokens, and speeds up every support case.
Common issues
Open the iPhone Settings app, scroll down to Enterprise Contacts, and make sure Contacts permission is set to On. Then open the app, check that automatic sync is on, and pull down to refresh to sync straight away. Background sync does not run if Background App Refresh is off for Enterprise Contacts in iOS Settings.
This usually means admin consent has not been granted for your Microsoft 365 tenant. Ask your IT administrator to follow the IT Admin Guide and complete the tenant consent step in Entra ID.
